What is different about Pleasantly Plasma’s Louise Walsh Plasma Pen vs. other Fibroblasting Plasma Pen devices?

Other fibroblasting devices are often referred to as Plasma Pens but are not the actual trademarked, FDA approved regulated or controlled devices.

Other competitor’s devices can be purchased from China for as little as $10 and are not true plasma technology.  At best, they are designed for personal skin tag and mole removal.  These pens are not suitable for professional use and can be extremely dangerous.  Plasma Pen treatment should only be performed by a trained professional.

What is the Plasma Pen Technology?

Plasma is often referred to as the fourth state of matter. It occurs when a gas is energized to the point that its atoms break apart into ions (positively charged particles) and free electrons (negatively charged particles). This process, called ionization, creates a collection of charged particles, often described as a "plasma cloud.

Plasma is distinct from the other states of matter (solid, liquid, gas) due to its unique properties. Since the particles in plasma are charged, it can conduct electricity, respond to magnetic fields, and emit light. Plasma can be found in a variety of environments, both naturally, like in lightning or stars (including the Sun), and artificially, such as in neon signs or plasma screens.

Plasma Pen technology, this ionized plasma cloud is harnessed to create tiny electrical arcs. These arcs interact with the skin, helping to rejuvenate or tighten it. The plasma energy causes the skin's tissue to contract and stimulate collagen production, leading to smoother, firmer skin over time. This non-invasive cosmetic treatment is popular for reducing wrinkles, tightening loose skin, and improving overall skin texture without the need for surgery.

In summary, plasma is an ionized gas with unique electrical properties, and this is the core concept behind Plasma Pen treatments that use plasma for cosmetic improvements.

What is Jet Plasma?

Jet Plasma is the most advanced state-of-the-art technology used for non-surgical, non-invasive, skin tightening with zero downtime. It uses a cooler atmospheric temperature, penetrating 13,000 volts of plasma through the epidermis, into the dermal & subcutaneous layers. This creates a micro injury that then stimulates fibroblast cells to heal the injury while elevating levels of collagen and remodeling the cellular structure from the inside out.  It helps smooth out wrinkles and fine lines along with brightening your overall appearance leaving you with a more radiant look.   It does not create surface trauma like traditional fibroblast plasma. When the Jet Plasma is mixed with oxide-oxygen, an ozone is created, which kills surface bacteria and is anti-inflammatory to aid in calming active acne, keratosis, eczema, rosacea and more. It’s an amazing, no down time alternative to traditional fibroblast. Best of all it creates no sun sensitivity and is safe for all skin types and colors.

A series of treatments ranging from 4-8 is recommended to see optimal results. These treatments can be spaced 48 hours apart.

  • Average of 5-8 days downtime on the face and neck areas
  • Average of 10 to 14 days on the body (anywhere below the neck)

  • After day 3, swelling subsides and scabs form.
  • Scabs normally begin to fall off between days 4-7

Please be aware that the days indicated are simply guidelines for average healing time. Healing time and results may be negatively compromised by not following the after care protocol: drinking alcohol, smoking, picking/scrubbing. If your health is compromised in any way, this can also extend your healing time and negatively affect your results.
